This locally produced movie about Miami hip-hop includes everything you'd expect: pretty pictures, lots of violence, and good urban music. Starring Lark Voorhies (of Saved by the Bell fame) and Fredro Starr, it's a "whodunit" in which "at least three rap icons are killed and a producer gets stuck in the middle of the drama," according to producer and local attorney David Garvin. The film also features rappers Rick Ross, Flo Rida, and Noreaga. View a trailer at www.thenexthit.net. It premieres Thursday at the Lincoln Theatre in Miami Beach and then will play at the CinéBistro Cobb Theatre at Dolphin Mall for a week beginning Friday. It will also show at the Muvico Paradise off I-75 in Broward and Muvico Parisian in City Place in West Palm Beach.
