No, the Other Robert Kelly
This one wont (allegedly) pee on you.
Published on July 17, 2008 at 3:01am
If the name Robert Kelly sounds familiar, it might be because the famed bump-and-grind singer and alleged child urinator was all over the news fighting charges of soliciting a minor for pornography. He believed he could fly; that he did right out of the courtroom, as a free man. So now that the media circus is over and the R is back to producing double-entendre-heavy music, let another Robert Kelly coast onto your radar. This one will make you laugh more than the others Trapped in the Closet hip-hopera, but thats fine with us.
The comedian Robert Kellys stage energy is the type that a laugh-thirsty crowd dreams of, and haters, well, hate on. Plus, hes so versatile he can switch seamlessly from raucous funnyman to a TV detective solving cases alongside Law & Order: Criminal Intent,/i> vets. Oh, so you can make us laugh and solve the hell out of a case? Youre our kind of guy. Sunday night is Roberts final show on a four-day stint at the Improv, so believe us this ball of energy will reach its peak tonight. The set starts at 8:30, and the laughs will cost you $16.05. Visit www.miamiimprov.com for more info and the drink menu because the Improv dont see nothing wrong with having a two-drink minimum.
