Lively Up Yourself

Go drinking and carousing at a fancy hotel every month.

Do you appreciate fine art and good drinks? Yeah? How about beautiful architecture and good company? Then we’ve got the place for you. The Miami Design Preservation League is featuring Lively Libations, a monthly event hosted in our city’s grandest historic spaces. If you wanna impress that new special someone, or you’re just looking for a way to unwind after another borderline-postal workday, why not booze it up in a unique and impressive locale?

Once a month like clockwork, the members of MDPL meet in a different location but with the same intention — to show appreciation for great architecture, artwork, and other forms of cultural preservation. At 7 p.m., The Hotel takes a turn at the intoxicating meet-and-greet. Check out Spire Bar, which houses interior spaces designed by Todd Oldham. Watching the sunset from a hotel rooftop with a couple of drinks flowing through you ain’t a bad way to spend your Thursday evening.
